My Data Experience

It has now been a few months since I quit my job to pursue learning data science full-time. In that time, I have completed a few online courses and a side project, but I have perhaps spent too much time planning my learning journey and researching the ideal resources. I will outline what I have completed so far and intend to greatly ramp up the intensity of my learning, with this blog helping to keep me accountable.

Completed Courses/Projects:

• CS50: to gain a strong foundation in computer science
• CS50P: to dive deeper into Python programming
• DataCamp Courses: to get familiar with data science concepts using SQL and Python
• Statistical Learning with Python: to understand statistics and machine learning concepts and apply them using Python
• Project: collaborated with a friend to develop an edge detection system that analyzed odds from various sportsbooks to identify positive EV bets
